Job summary

Thales recruits for its Sensor Processing group to advance radar software development. The role covers control of radar systems, transmission management, and real-time processing to detect and classify aircraft and drones, with results shown on an operator console.

You will contribute in Agile teams within a modular, evolving architecture, using a modern toolchain and a flexible hybrid work model. Dutch and English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.
• Experience with Real-Time Software development.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of Mathematics relevant to software development.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Familiarity with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Reskilling possible, but only if the candidate has prior real-time software experience.
• Eligibility for Dutch Eyes Only classification and for VGB-B clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop radar software controlling radar systems and managing transmissions.
• Process the digital information stream to detect and classify objects.
• Detect, track, and display objects on an operator console.
• Work in Agile teams with a modular, robust architecture and modern toolchain.
• Maintain and evolve the development toolchain and Agile process.
