Job summary

Thales is seeking a software engineer for the SMU Team to develop and integrate real-time radar software across multiple systems. You will bridge disciplines, troubleshoot, and ensure robust operation within an agile team.

The role requires a HBO/WO degree in technical CS or EE, 5+ years in C/C++ RT software, Linux proficiency, and fluency in Dutch and English; security clearance is part of the process.

Qualifications

• A completed HBO or WO degree in (technical) computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with C/C++ and developing real-time software.
• Fluent in English and native Dutch; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate radar software for multiple radar systems.
• Troubleshoot and ensure software operates robustly across platforms.
• Collaborate across disciplines in Agile teams to maintain architecture and toolchain.
