Job summary

Thales in Hengelo is seeking a part-time Software Engineer C++ (TRK) to join the Sensor Processing group. You will develop and maintain real-time radar software, working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver modular and robust control and processing functions.

The role requires 5+ years in C++ development, Linux proficiency, and experience with real-time systems. Dutch and English skills are essential. Hybrid work is available in a flexible environment with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in C++ software development.
• Experience with Real-Time Software development.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain radar software and controls in real-time environments.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver robust modular software architecture.
• Support development, integration, and deployment of software within sensor processing pipelines.
