Job summary

Thales Group in Hengelo, Netherlands, is seeking a C/C++ Radar Software Engineer to join the SMU Team (sensor management unit). You will develop, integrate and troubleshoot radar software across multiple radar systems.

The role requires a Master’s in a technical field and at least 2 years of C/C++ real-time development, with Linux proficiency. English and Dutch fluency are essential, and collaboration in Agile teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in (technical) computer science or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of C/C++ development in real-time software.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Familiar with Jenkins, Artifactory and Maven build tools.
• English and Dutch language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop radar software in C/C++ and ensure real-time performance.
• Perform integrations and troubleshooting across radar systems.
• Collaborate across disciplines within Agile teams.
• Contribute to architecture, toolchain, and deployment processes.
