Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Product Solutions Physicist with a Technical Marketing focus in the Netherlands. You will bridge quantum physics, control technologies, and marketing to shape how the community understands emerging solutions.

You will translate complex hardware and software capabilities into compelling technical narratives, create authoritative content, and collaborate across research, product, and marketing teams to reflect real experimental needs.

Qualifications

• A PhD in quantum physics or a closely related field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in experimental quantum physics and/or quantum computing is required.
• Experience with spin qubits is a strong advantage, particularly for understanding the experimental challenges and control requirements associated with this qubit modality.
• A strong track record of technical communication, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts accurately and clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
• Exceptional storytelling and content development skills, supported by outstanding written and spoken English proficiency.
• Confidence in public speaking, with the ability to deliver engaging technical presentations at conferences, webinars, and other professional events.
• A genuine interest in marketing, scientific storytelling, and science communication, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to practical applications and audience needs.
• Strong analytical skills and scientific judgment, including the ability to read research papers critically, evaluate technical claims, and distinguish meaningful advances from less relevant developments.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across marketing, product, research and development, solutions, and sales teams.
• The ability to balance scientific precision with accessible communication, ensuring that all external messaging remains technically credible, relevant, and compelling.
• A proactive and curious mindset, with the ability to identify emerging topics, take ownership of content initiatives, and work effectively in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of quantum control platforms and experimental challenges across qubit modalities, with emphasis on spin qubits.
• Own the technical accuracy, messaging, and positioning of public-facing materials (whitepapers, notes, datasheets, conference presentations).
• Analyze emerging research papers and industry developments to identify educational opportunities for the quantum computing community.
• Collaborate with solutions, applications, research, product, and marketing teams to understand new capabilities and customer challenges.
• Identify underrepresented topics and develop educational content addressing researchers and industry professionals.
• Represent the organization as a trusted technical voice through conferences, webinars, and publications.
• Adapt scientific communication to audiences from graduate students to executives, balancing rigor with accessibility.
• Create content across formats including written publications, videos, and digital assets for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, blogs, and X.
• Partner with marketing to evaluate content performance and refine communication strategies.
• Help shape overall content strategy and tone of voice combining scientific rigor with storytelling.
• Establish workflows that transform research findings into timely content for the wider community.
