Job summary

QuantWare BV is seeking a Senior Quantum Measurement and Calibration Engineer to lead experimental characterization, diagnostic protocol development, and performance optimization of next-generation quantum processors. You will build advanced diagnostics to quantify losses, budget gate errors, and improve fidelities across QPUs.

The role involves owning measurement campaigns from hypothesis to data acquisition, analysis, and reporting, collaborating with QPU Design, Measurement and Software

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on cryogenic measurement of multi-qubit superconducting processors.
Extensive experience diagnosing performance-limiting mechanisms in superconducting quantum devices.
Deep understanding of cQED and device signal integrity challenges.
Proficiency in Python and data analysis for quantum experiments.
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a strong drive to scale quantum technology.

Responsibilities

Create and refine advanced measurement protocols to improve gate and readout fidelities.
Design and execute experiments to validate design elements and layout optimisations.
Analyze measurement datasets, report findings, and drive device design upgrades.
