QuantWare BV in Delft, Netherlands, seeks a Quantum Measurement and Calibration Engineer – Automated Calibration to build scalable QPU bring-up software. You will implement automated Python workflows for large-scale qubit calibration, resonator spectroscopy, and readout optimization, collaborating with software engineers and production teams.

PhD or MSc with 2+ years in physics or quantum information, strong Python, Git, and testing skills, plus hands-on cryogenic measurement experience.

Formación

• PhD (or Master's with 2+ years industry experience) in Physics, Quantum Information, Electrical Eng or CS.
• 2+ years cryogenic measurement of multi-qubit superconducting processors, incl. 2-qubit gate calibration.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with modular, maintainable code for data acquisition or pipelines.
• Working knowledge of software engineering practices: OO design, Git, reviews, testing.
• Automation mindset to reduce manual measurement overhead and improve hardware bring-up.

Responsabilidades

• Automated Calibration Software: characterize and calibrate large-scale QPUs with Python, covering resonator spectroscopy and readout optimization.
• Code Architecture & Quality: write, review and maintain modular Python code with automated tests, CI/CD and docs.
• Ownership: take complete end-to-end ownership from concept through coding, validation and integration.
• Collaborate: work with internal users across Processor Development and Production to improve features and calibration workflows.
