Job summary

Tu Delft, a leading technical university in the Netherlands, is seeking a Quantum Ecosystem Development Lead / Community & Events Coordinator in Delft to plan and deliver ecosystem events. You will liaise with TU Delft, QuTech, QDNL and external partners, coordinating hosts, catering and pitches for a range of quantum ecosystem activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating events from A to Z across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and follow through on commitments.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Lead point of contact for quantum ecosystem events and visiting delegations to TU Delft, QuTech, QDNL, House of Quantum, and QDNL Delft.
  • Coordinate QDNL Delft's involvement in events, including scheduling hosts, arranging catering, and organizing company pitches.
  • Manage and supervise 1-2 student assistants.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to promote events and community activities.
  • Represent QDNL Delft in House of Quantum team meetings and align building activities with community initiatives.
  • Lead the organization and delivery of monthly community events.
  • Support the planning and execution of the annual flagship community event on 27 October.
  • Contribute to fostering an active, connected quantum community in Delft.
