Job summary

TU Delft's Faculty of Technology, Policy & Management invites applications for a 9-month postdoc position examining the societal and cultural meaning of quantum technologies. The project develops an UNESCO readiness assessment methodology adapted to quantum technologies and tests it with communities in Africa or Latin America, under the QDNL programme.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field and proven research ability.
• Strong written and spoken English; Dutch helpful but not required.
• Ability to work in teams and across disciplines.
• Experience engaging with diverse communities is desirable.
• Interest in interdisciplinary education activities.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and test the UNESCO readiness assessment methodology.
• Test transposition with communities in Africa or Latin America.
• Participate in teaching within Ethics/Philosophy of Technology.
• Collaborate with researchers from engineering, social sciences and humanities.
