Job summary

QuantWare BV is seeking a Quantum Hardware Assembly Technician to turn chips into measured products. You will assemble chips, wirebond and solder, test and seal packages, and load cryogenic fridges in a fast-paced production environment.

You will follow technical drawings and SOPs, report to Production Manager and align with the Assembly Tech Lead. A hands-on, precise approach and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• MBO-level technical education and 4+ years hands-on experience assembling mechanical, electrical or mechatronic systems.
• Ability to read work instructions with photos and technical drawings; comfortable with basic digital tools and production systems.
• Precise, patient and disciplined to follow instructions and record work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assemble quantum chips into their packaging from drawings and instructions.
• Make electrical connections, including wirebonding and soldering tasks.
• Measure and test to ensure quality before devices move to measurement.
• Finish and seal the package and prepare for transportation to measurement.
• Load cryogenic fridges with packaged samples and QPUs, ensure proper connections.
• Safeguard quality by following handling and ESD procedures.
