Job summary

Optiver offers a ten-week Quantitative Trading Internship starting in 2026. You’ll be trained by ex-traders and researchers, trading on live markets with simulated capital and a strong research focus.

The program includes projects, cross-desk exposure, and a path to potential full-time offers after graduation. Penultimate-year STEM students with strong quantitative skills, curiosity, and Python experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year student in a STEM field; available to work full-time after graduation in 2027.
• Exceptional quantitative and logical reasoning skills.
• Interested in strategic games or competitive activities.
• Programming experience in Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on exposure to trading fundamentals and financial markets.
• Trade on live markets using Optiver technology with simulated capital.
• Contribute to research projects supporting trading decisions.
• Experience desks across the firm and engage in team learning.
