Job summary

Optiver is seeking a Quantitative Trading Intern to explore how research, technology and live trading come together on Amsterdam's trading floor. You’ll work on real questions through simulated trading sessions and receive guidance from seasoned traders and researchers.

The ten-week program culminates with training that could lead to a full-time offer in Amsterdam or London, while you receive a competitive compensation package and extensive office perks.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year STEM student
• Strong quantitative and logical reasoning
• Programming experience in Python is a plus
• Able to work full-time after graduation in 2028

Responsibilities

• Engage in simulated trading sessions reflecting real market conditions
• Learn from a team of former traders and researchers
• Apply data analysis and hypothesis testing to trading strategies
• Use AI tools to solve real-world trading problems
