Job summary

Optiver invites penultimate year STEM students to a Quantitative Trading Internship starting in 2026 in Amsterdam. You will experience the heartbeat of our trading floor, learn from ex-traders and researchers, and participate in simulations.

During ten weeks you will train in trading fundamentals, work on live markets with simulated capital, and collaborate on research-driven projects. An offer to join full-time after studies may follow.

Qualifications

Penultimate year STEM student eligible to join full-time in 2027.
Strong quantitative and logical reasoning.
Experience with Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

Deep dive into trading fundamentals and financial markets.
Trade on live markets using Optiver technology with simulated capital.
Work on research-backed trading projects.
Gain exposure to multiple desks and analytics.
