Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Inspector to monitor and measure products on the manufacturing floor, escalate nonconforming issues, and support quality processes. The role includes verifying first piece inspections, containment of defects, and adherence to packaging and audit routines.

Responsibilities cover daily production support, tool usage for inspections, and cross-training across work centers.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform duties.
• 6 months quality experience.
• One year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrates responsibility, honesty, and integrity in work.

Responsibilities

• Support daily/weekly production requirements.
• Inspect and gauge parts to customer specifications.
• Verify first piece inspection per process.
• Follow containment procedures for nonconforming product.
• Ensure proper packing per customer requirements.
• Perform daily Layered Process Audits (LPA).
• Monitor and validate quality alerts.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in work area.
• Cross-train on various work centers.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
• Meet daily production requirements.
