We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to join the Avular Team!
As a Quality Engineer at Avular, you play a key role in ensuring that our products, processes, and operations consistently meet high standards for quality and reliability. You will work closely with both the operational and the development team. You will ensure that quality is designed into our products and processes from an early development stage onwards, while continuously improving quality throughout the product lifecycle. You combine strong analytical and process-thinking skills with a hands‑on engineering approach to identify root causes, prevent recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement across multidisciplinary teams.
Production & Supplier Quality: Work closely with R&D, Production, Manufacturing Engineering and Purchasing to identify and resolve quality issues related to manufacturing processes, components, and suppliers. Support supplier quality improvement and ensure that incoming materials and components meet defined requirements. Implement the relevant quality checks in our production processes.
Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving: Lead investigations into structural quality issues, defects, and non-conformities using systematic root-cause analysis methods. Develop and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve process stability.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively implement continuous improvement practices focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, increasing reliability, and eliminating sources of variation and waste. Both in our internal processes and in collaboration with our suppliers.
R&D Collaboration (DfQ): Partner closely with R&D engineering teams during product development to improve our products with Design for Quality (DfQ) principles, including evaluating prototypes, defining critical-to-quality characteristics and facilitating FMEA's.
Quality Culture: Act as a quality ambassador across the organisation by promoting a proactive, prevention-focused approach to quality and encouraging teams to take ownership of product and process quality. Ensure that quality considerations are integrated into operational and business decisions.
You have 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering in a high-tech environment.
You have an eye for detail, with a quality-focused yet pragmatic mindset.
You are familiar with technical product documentation and have solid knowledge of quality control measures, procedures, root cause analysis, FMEAs, and control plans.
You are comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholders.
You enjoy creating and improving processes and building scalable ways of working in a fast-growing organisation
You have a hands-on mentality and like to balance process thinking and in-depth analysis with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to day-to-day operational work. Y ou enjoy staying close to the day-to-day execution.
Working proficiency in both spoken and written English.
You have a degree from an Applied University or a University-level Institution
You thrive in a scale-up environment where priorities move fast, and ownership is high.
