Job summary

Rise Resourcing partners with a well-established international retailer to recruit a Quality Manager in Amsterdam. You will lead quality across Electronics and Battery products for Europe, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust documentation.

Experience in retail or consumer brands is valued; leadership is advantageous but not essential. The role offers flexible hours and a collaborative, wellbeing‑focused culture, with clear career development opportunities.

• Leadership experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own quality across Electronics, Battery products for Europe.
• Review samples, technical files and product specifications.
• Ensure testing and compliance docs are current and meet regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and review test reports.
• Approve packaging, artwork, warning labels and docs.
• Collaborate with buying, suppliers and testing partners across Europe and Far East.
• Analyze product returns and drive continuous improvement with suppliers.
• Provide technical support to buying and customer service teams.

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of the Electronics category, ensuring products consistently meet the highest quality, safety and regulatory standards across Europe.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing quality across Electronic, Battery products
• Reviewing product samples, technical files and product specifications
• Ensuring all testing and compliance documentation is current and meets the latest regulations
• Conducting product risk assessments and reviewing test reports
• Approving packaging, artwork, warning labels and product documentation
• Working closely with buying teams, suppliers and testing partners across Europe and the Far East
• Analysing product returns and driving continuous improvement with suppliers
• Supporting buying and customer service teams with technical expertise

About You

You’ll already have experience within a retailer, supplier or consumer brand.

Previous management experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential.
