The Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager - Europe to oversee and support quality activities across Freemen Nutra's European operations, including the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and Italy. The role will serve as the key regional quality contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams, while working closely with Freemen Nutra's global quality organization to maintain consistent quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage quality-related matters across Freemen Nutra's European operations and serve as the primary regional quality contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage customer complaints, investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
- Maintain and continuously improve the regional Quality Management System (QMS), including SOPs, change control, quality records, and related processes.
- Coordinate with the global quality team to ensure alignment with company quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Support customer and warehouse audits, quality questionnaires, product qualification, certifications, and other quality documentation requirements.
- Support supplier qualification and evaluation, including documentation review, quality assessments, audits, and corrective action follow-up.
- Coordinate and support relevant quality certifications and standards, including ISO, BRCGS, GMP+, HACCP, and other applicable systems.
- Partner with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations on product specifications, testing methods, customer qualification projects, and quality matters related to nutraceutical ingredients, food ingredients, premixes, APIs, and other products.
- Monitor applicable European and local quality, food safety, dietary supplement, and regulatory requirements and communicate relevant changes to internal teams.
- Provide quality-related guidance and training to relevant teams and support continuous improvement across the European business.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Quality Management, or another relevant technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant quality assurance, quality management, food safety, or regulatory experience.
- Experience in the dietary supplement, nutraceutical ingredient, food ingredient, pharmaceutical/API, or related industries is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QMS, HACCP, CAPA, root cause investigation, supplier qualification, and customer quality requirements.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, BRCGS, GMP+, GMP, or other relevant quality and food safety standards.
- Familiarity with applicable European and local regulatory requirements related to dietary supplements, food ingredients, and/or pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across countries and functions.
- Professional fluency in English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.
