Qualifications

  • Good understanding of HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate regional QHSE activities in line with corporate objectives.
  • Implement and monitor the annual QHSE program and action plans.
  • Maintain and improve the Company Management System.
  • Perform and participate in internal inspections, audits, risk analyses, and management of change processes
  • Lead or assist in incident investigations including root cause analysis and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation and monitor regulatory changes within the region
  • Prepare and present QHSE statistics, reports, and management reviews (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Administer and promote the use of Synergi and ensure follow-up of incident reports and non-conformities
  • Provide QHSE input to tender processes and support communication and training within the organization
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation at drilling locations

Skills

Relevant formal background within QHSE
Experience in a similar advisory role
Strong knowledge of ISO/API standards
Good communication skills in English

Role Purpose

The QHSE Advisor Netherlands is responsible for coordinating and developing QHSE activities in line with corporate objectives, regional KPIs, and applicable legislation. The role supports the line organization in ensuring compliance with internal management systems, customer requirements, and regulatory standards, while promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The position plays a key role in maintaining and improving the Company Management System and acts as management representative for the quality management system where applicable. The role reports to the Area Manager as per the organization chart.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and follow up regional QHSE activities in accordance with corporate objectives and KPIs
  • Implement and monitor the annual QHSE program and related action plans
  • Maintain and improve the Company Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2 and other relevant standards
  • Perform and participate in internal inspections, audits, risk analyses, and management of change processes
  • Lead or assist in incident investigations including root cause analysis and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation and monitor regulatory changes within the region
  • Prepare and present QHSE statistics, reports, and management reviews (monthly, quarterly, annual)

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
  • Relevant formal background within QHSE or extensive relevant experience in the field
  • Experience in a similar QHSE advisory or coordination role
  • Preferably trained in auditing, investigation techniques, safety and emergency response
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and relevant ISO/API standards
  • Good understanding of HSE legislation and regulatory requirementsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
