Job summary

Odfjell Technology in Coevorden is seeking a Workshop Assistant to join our team. You will be involved in hands-on tasks to support maintenance and equipment servicing, with focus on safety, quality, and reliability in daily operations.

The role requires basic technical skills, a high school diploma, and good command of English. You will work in a collaborative environment across shifts, with training opportunities and a clear path for development within a global company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in related product line.
• Good written and oral English skills.
• Computer and systems literate.
• QHSE training and awareness.
• High School education or equivalent.
• Must successfully pass pre-placement medical examination and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Pressure washing and cleaning of equipment.
• Painting of serviced equipment.
• Assist during maintenance or repair of equipment.
• Ensure sand blasting PPE are in good condition and fit to work.
• Tests inspect air hoses and sandblasting machine before each use.
• Ensure good housekeeping/cleanliness practices and maintenance of equipment.
• Must demonstrate safe handling practices and adhere to Company procedures and perform risk assessments where required.
• Must be flexible at all times and will be required to work in other areas of the operation as necessary.
• Other tasks assigned.
• Successful completion of workshop training.
• Successful completion of manual handling and lifting risks course.
