Job summary

OSI Europe is a leading meat processing company located in Beuningen. We are looking for a QA Specialist to ensure product and food safety at both operational and strategic levels, validating products, managing documentation and supporting audits.

You will report to the QA Manager and drive continuous improvement across production and quality teams. You should have HBO-level education in food technology, extensive HACCP knowledge, and experience with audit processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold HBO-level or equivalent in food technology.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards (IFS, QS, BLK).
• Experience with audit processes and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

Henri van der Bilt is a meat processing production company in Beuningen and part of the international OSI Group. At this location, high-quality meat products are processed, portioned, and packaged using modern, largely automated production lines.

Responsibilities

As a QA Specialist, you ensure product and food safety at both operational and strategic levels. You ensure compliance with legal obligations, industry agreements, and the requirements and wishes of internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you are an important knowledge source in the areas of measurement techniques, improvement processes, analysis methods, and organizational development.

• Validating and verifying products, equipment, and processes
• Managing and controlling quality documentation
• Managing non‑conforming products and conducting Root Cause Analyses
• Managing and monitoring traceability and mass balance
• Coordinating and managing training in quality and food safety
• Staying informed about food safety and quality regulations and implementing them within the business operations
• Informing, communicating, and reporting on quality issues to internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting decision‑making at strategic and operational levels and identifying and establishing trends
• Directly reporting to the QA Manager
• Shaping and promoting continuous improvement within the organization
• Organizing, guiding, and following up on internal and external audits and customer visits
• Promoting ownership of quality within and outside the organization
• Increasing quality awareness among direct and indirect employees
• Ensuring integrity and providing independent advice on quality and (food) safety

What You Need

Education & Experience

• At least a higher professional education (HBO) level, preferably a completed degree in food technology
• Proven experience in the food industry
• Experience in the meat industry is a plus
