Are you passionate about Quality Assurance? Do you have experience in the food industry or a similar field? Are you currently looking for a challenging temporary role? Then we need to speak as soon as possible!

In this role as a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for continuous quality improvement within a food technology environment. You will be the point of contact for quality‑related issues and will communicate directly with stakeholders regarding findings and advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex data to identify key issues and develop actionable plans with KPIs.
• Conduct gap assessments and trend analyses to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare management reports and actively participate in improvement projects.
• Lead or contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Structured After Action Review (SAAB) sessions.
• Serve as the primary contact for major quality issues and support quality control in production meetings.
• Draft various reports, including FTR, RTFT, and quality notifications, while providing data‑driven advice.
• Participate in audits and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• HBO in Food Technology or HLO.
• Experience in food/pharma industry, preferably dairy.
• Knowledge of baby food standards.
• 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control or similar.
• Experience with SAP‑QM and Power‑BI.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (Dutch and English).
• Analytical, proactive, and persuasive.

What we can offer you is a temporary contract for 9 months and 32‑38 hours per week via our agency Independent Flex. The salary will be €4,500–€5,500 gross per month based on 40 hours with 8% holiday allowance. In this period you will work on an assignment for one of the market leaders in the food industry.
