Flow Traders is seeking a Property & Facilities Manager for our Amsterdam office on a part-time basis. You will own facilities and workplace coordination, engage with external providers and landlords, and manage service levels and budgets.

The role requires hands-on ownership, independent work, and the ability to balance day-to-day operations with broader workplace priorities. Based in the Netherlands, approx. 20–24 hours per week onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, facilities or workplace management.
• Practical knowledge of facilities management and workplace health & safety requirements.
• Experience managing outsourced facilities providers, landlords or external vendors.
• Experience working with service-level agreements and holding external providers accountable.
• Comfortable managing facilities budgets and reviewing vendor invoices.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of facilities and workplace management for our Amsterdam office.
• Act as the key point of contact for external facilities providers, landlords and vendors.
• Manage and challenge outsourced providers against agreed service levels and expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day building and facilities matters, ensuring issues are followed through to resolution.
• Support health & safety requirements and help maintain a safe and well-managed workplace.
• Monitor facilities-related budgets, costs and vendor invoices.
• Coordinate external vendors and contractors as required.
• Support office moves, refurbishments, lease-related activities and other workplace projects.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve workplace and facilities operations.
• Provide clear updates and elevate relevant matters to senior stakeholders when appropriate.

Property & Facilities Manager (Part-Time)

Flow Traders is looking for a Property & Facilities Manager to join our Amsterdam office on a part-time basis. This is a newly created, directly employed position reporting to the COO. The role has been established to strengthen our in-house ownership and oversight of property, facilities and workplace matters. As Property & Facilities Manager, you will act as Flow Traders’ representative across all facilities-related activities. You will oversee and manage our external facilities providers, including CBRE, ensuring services meet our expectations and that issues are proactively identified, challenged and resolved. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently and balancing day-to-day operational requirements with broader workplace and property priorities.

What you will do

What you need to succeed

• Relevant experience in property, facilities or workplace management, ideally within a corporate office environment
• Practical knowledge of facilities management, building services and workplace health & safety requirements
• Experience directly managing outsourced facilities providers, landlords and/or external vendors
• Experience working with service-level agreements and holding external providers accountable for delivery
• Comfortable managing facilities budgets and reviewing vendor invoices
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A hands-on and pragmatic approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Confidence working independently and representing the interests of Flow Traders with external parties
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including confidence engaging with senior management
• A calm and solutions-oriented approach when dealing with incidents or operational issues
• Experience with office moves, refurbishments or lease-related projects would be an advantage
• Availability to work approximately 20-24 hours per week onsite and currently based in the Netherlands
