STRIVE Search is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for a data centre project in the Netherlands. The role focuses on managing budgets, variations, procurement, and contract administration to support timely cash flow and commercial success.

You will review subcontractor payments, forecasts and cost-to-complete updates, while liaising with clients and design teams. A degree in Quantity Surveying is required, with 3-5+ years’ experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying with a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.
• Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement, cost reporting and commercial management.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, including FIDIC, JCT or similar.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day commercial activities, project budgets, valuations and variations.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, tender evaluations and contract administration.
• Prepare monthly cost-value reports, forecasts and commercial updates.
• Manage change orders, contractual claims, commercial risks and final accounts.
• Review subcontractor payment applications and negotiate subcontract agreements.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly valuations to maintain project cash flow.
• Liaise with clients, design teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify commercial opportunities and ensure contractual obligations are met.
