Job summary

Sioux Technologies Eindhoven seeks an NPI Project Manager – Mechatronics to lead the introduction of mechatronic modules or complete machines in our assembly facility for semiconductor, analytical and medical equipment customers. You will drive cross‑functional teams, manage budget and planning, and ensure high quality and timely launches.

You collaborate with D&E and Production, apply the Sioux QMS, and continually improve NPI processes while supporting Sales with project estimates and quotes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in (NPI) project management within the high-tech industry.
  • Familiarity with Prince2 and PM methodologies.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Navision, SAP, or Microsoft D365).

Responsibilities

  • Gather customer requirements, forecasts, priorities, issues and complaints throughout the project.
  • Prepare and maintain reports for the NPI Manager and assembly management team with timely signaling of disruptions.
  • Align with NPI Manager on budget, planning and product margin/revenue requirements.
  • Execute NPI projects according to QMS and ERP process to meet QLTC specifications (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost).
  • Contribute to development and optimization of NPI PM processes at interfaces between D&E and Production.
  • Assist in acquiring new NPI projects with Sales or Account Manager.
  • Provide project estimates and inputs for quotes (RFQs).

Job description

As an NPI Project Manager – Mechatronics, you introduce new high-tech modules, lead multidisciplinary teams, monitor planning, quality, and budget, and ensure a successful market launch.
In this role, you are responsible for introducing mechatronic, (electro)mechanical modules or even complete machines into our assembly factory for customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industries, both within the Brainport region and beyond. You work closely with the multidisciplinary design teams and your colleagues in the factory to achieve the best results in terms of quality, delivery times, and costs. In addition, you are part of the Project Management team, where you contribute to the ongoing improvement of our New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.

  • Gathering customer needs regarding forecasts, demand, priorities, issues, and complaints throughout the project.
  • Preparing and maintaining reports for the NPI Manager or the Sioux Technologies Assembly Management Team (project board/dashboard), including timely signaling and escalation in case of disruptions or deviations.
  • Aligning and agreeing with the NPI Manager on project budget, planning, and requirements regarding expected product margin and revenue.
  • Executing NPI projects according to the Sioux Quality Management System (QMS) to achieve a complete ERP process that ensures products are delivered according to the agreed QLTC specifications (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost) – fully in line with the principles of World Class Manufacturing.
  • Initiating or participating in the development and optimization of NPI Project Management processes, aiming to continuously improve the NPI process, especially at the interfaces between the D&E organization (Development & Engineering) and the Production organization.
  • Contributing to the acquisition of new NPI projects in collaboration with the Sales or Account Manager.
  • Providing project estimates and other relevant input to the Account Manager, which are needed for preparing quotes based on customer requests (RFQs).

This is what you bring to the table
  • You hold a Bachelor's or master’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in (NPI) project management within the high-tech industry.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with business processes and the associated challenges.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, such as Prince2.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems such as Navision, SAP, or Microsoft D365.
  • Strong leadership and excellent skills in influencing, project management, conflict management, and team building, combined with a proactive hands‑on mentality.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
