Job summary

Sioux is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and test software for high-tech products. From our Apeldoorn office and at customer locations, you will work on challenging projects that take technology to the next level, collaborating with electronics and mechatronics engineers in multidisciplinary teams.

You will develop embedded software in C, C++, and Rust, build on real-time platforms, and contribute to modular architectures with an emphasis on quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in technical software development.
• Experience with C, C++, Rust, Linux, and embedded environments.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Software Architecture.
• Knowledge of Electronics is a plus.
• Good command of Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Valid European driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you develop and test software for high-tech products and machines.

In this role, you support our customers in the semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment industries, within the triangle of Nijmegen, Enschede, and Zwolle, by delivering smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays an essential role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life.

This is what you bring to the table

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, - Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• You have at least 2-3 years of experience in technical software development
• You have experience with C, C++, Rust, Linux, and embedded environments
• You have knowledge of Design Patterns and Software Architecture
• Knowledge of Electronics is considered a plus
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
• You hold a valid European driver's license and are willing to travel
