Siemens in The Hague invites an experienced Project Manager to lead international power distribution projects for large data centers, coordinating with hyperscalers and colocation providers.

You will own scope, budget and schedule, travel monthly to sites across Europe, and drive safety and HSE while delivering resilient, efficient infrastructure.

Ready to lead international power distribution projects for some of the world’s largest data centers? At Siemens, you’ll work with leading global data center clients, including hyperscalers and colocation providers. The Role

As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of project scope, budget & schedule for power distribution for some of the world’s largest and most innovative data center operators. You’ll help deliver the electrical infrastructure that keeps the digital world running, supporting everything from cloud services to emerging technologies.

You need projectmanagement experience to handle strategically important projects, working closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and suppliers throughout Europe. You are passionate about enabling reliable, efficient, and sustainable power distribution. From improving system resilience and cybersecurity to leveraging data-driven insights and reducing environmental impact, you help translate our customers’ ambitions into successful project outcomes.

The role combines strategic project leadership with practical execution. You will regularly (at least once a month) travel to construction sites, factories, suppliers, and locations, giving you the opportunity to see projects come to life and build strong relationships across the value chain.

The Team

Based in The Hague, you will work closely with colleagues from sales, logistics, engineering, finance, purchasing, and execution to successfully deliver complex customer projects. You will join a team of 35 Project Managers in a dynamic, rapidly growing and highly international environment, with more than 55 nationalities represented across the business unit.

Your Responsibilities

Core:

• Take full ownership of project scope, budget, schedule, risk management and customer satisfaction;
• Coordinate multidisciplinary international project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure flawless execution;
• Lead complex, high-value Low & Medium Voltage power distribution end-to-end.

Also....

• Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle;
• Ensure the successful delivery of advanced electrical infrastructure solutions for mission critical environments;
• You are the driving power behind key milestones such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT);
• Assure that there is a strong safety culture and full HSE compliance on-site;
• Work with highly advanced electrical and LV/MV power distribution technologies, such as: Sivacon busbar trunking systems, NXAIR/8DJH/NXPLUS C switchgears, modular e-houses and SIPROTEC protection systems;
• You maintain laser-sharp focus on safety: Ensuring Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), excellence, particularly during site activities

Job Requirements

Necessary:

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in electrical or power distribution projects (or other technical on site projects)
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Industrial Engineering,
• Technical Business Administration or any similar Bachelor's degree; degree;
• Strong customer-facing experience and stakeholder management (on-site);
• Proven track record in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects;
• Strong awareness of safety standards and HSE regulations;
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus);
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately once per month);

Preferably:

• Solid knowledge of power distribution systems (LV/MV);
• PMP or IPMA certification;
• VCA VOL or equivalent safety certification for International power distribution projects of varying size and complexity with average risk and operational leadership responsibilities.
• Due to the frequent cross-border activities of this role, candidates are highly preferred to be able to travel and work freely across European countries without requiring additional visas or permits.

Our offer

• A salary between €6.000 to €8.000 Gross Monthly income + Benefits Budget, which translates to yearly salary range between €90.000 to €120.000;
