Job summary

FairPlay Engineering is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead data centre power distribution projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate cross-functional teams worldwide and manage scope, budget, schedule, quality and safety to meet customer expectations.

The role requires 7+ years in project management within electrical engineering, strong leadership, and fluency in English (Dutch a plus). International travel of 25–40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager within electrical engineering, power distribution, or industrial infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and quality requirements.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary and international project teams.
• Experience leading projects through manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, HSE standards, and safe project execution practices.
• PMP, IPMA, or equivalent project management certification.
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, Dutch language skills are considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis (25-40%)

Responsibilities
