Job summary

GEODIS Benelux is seeking a driven Project Manager for our Projects & Engineering team to deliver logistics projects in Almere, focused on the Alo Yoga warehouse. You will oversee end-to-end implementation, including inbound, storage, outbound, customs, and value-added services, coordinating IT systems and processes across the project lifecycle.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and maintain strong client relationships across GEODIS' global network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree HBO level.
• 10+ years of work experience, 5+ years in a similar role.
• Experience managing projects in a structured way.
• Detailed knowledge of logistics processes (warehousing, transport, customs, value added services).
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.
• Proactive team player with commercial mindset and project ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of new customers and the setup of new logistics concepts.
• Coordinate projects across inbound, storage, outbound, customs, transport and value added services; ensure efficient warehouse layout and IT integration (WMS, TMS, DMS, BI).
• Serve as the primary contact for customers; maintain project documentation per methodology; collaborate with senior Project Managers and Logistics Engineers.

Are you our new Project Manager?

For our Projects & Engineering department, we are looking for a driven Project Manager who is energized by delivering logistics projects and is constantly seeking innovative solutions.
As a Project Manager within GEODIS Contract Logistics Benelux, you are responsible for the successful implementation of new customers, the setup of new logistics concepts, and the realization of improvements for existing customers. This position specifically focuses on our brand-new warehouse environment in Almere for Alo Yoga, an international high end fashion and athletic apparel company. In this warehouse, we handle distribution for the whole of Europe.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team, responsible for implementing efficient, safe, and sustainable solutions within the agreed budget and timeline. You coordinate projects covering virtually all logistics aspects: inbound, storage, outbound, customs clearance, transport, and value added services. This means you will ensure optimal physical warehouse layout, connect transport and customs processes, and set up and integrate the necessary IT systems (WMS, TMS, DMS, BI, and additional systems).

You are the central point of contact for the customer and ensure that the client, the internal project team, suppliers, and management are always fully informed about the progress and any challenges. You maintain accurate and complete project administration in accordance with our project management methodology. Within the department, you collaborate with experienced Project Managers and Logistics Engineers, ensuring you always have professional sparring partners.

Thanks to your proactive communication, strong technical knowledge, and service-oriented approach, you are able to build and maintain solid relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues within the global GEODIS network.
