Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced project manager to lead EPC delivery in Rotterdam, Netherlands. This 12-month contract covers engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, with a potential temp-to-perm path.

You will manage budgets and schedules, coordinate vendors, and report progress to the Project Director. The brownfield capex project is valued around 20m€, and site-based delivery is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in EPC energy projects.
• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred (BESS/Wind/Solar).
• Site-based experience on EPC projects is required.
• Ability to deliver projects from initiation to completion (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Strong stakeholder management and reporting to senior management.

• Responsible for performance of engineering & project delivery contractors.
• Prepare project reports and present to management.
• Create project organisation and outline responsibilities for each role – create scope for each role.
• Overall responsible for project budget and planning.
• Reporting to the Project Director, delivering a brownfield capex project valued around 20m€.

Essential Skills

• Project Management experience (5-10+ years).
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background preferred, ideally in BESS, Wind, Solar or similar energy industry.
• Site based experience, working on EPC projects.
• Ability to deliver projects from initiation to completion, including engineering, vendor selection, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Stakeholder management skills, liaising with senior management and reporting project progress.
