Forexx Group B.V. is seeking a Project Lead Mechanical Engineering to head the engineering of complex systems for fully customised superyachts.
You will coordinate an engineering team and oversee the complete mechanical scope within yacht-building projects. You will ensure design, planning, budgets, and production stay aligned, from initial engineering to delivery, collaborating with production, procurement, and suppliers.
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer who is ready to combine technical responsibility with project leadership? For a leading international superyacht builder, we are looking for a Project Lead Mechanical Engineering.
In this position, you will lead challenging mechanical engineering projects for unique, fully customised superyachts. You will be responsible for the engineering of the technical systems on board and ensure that design, planning, budget, suppliers and production remain aligned throughout the project.
Every yacht is different. This means technically complex projects, short communication lines and plenty of opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge and leadership skills.

Your responsibilities will include:
You will work closely with engineers, production teams, procurement specialists, suppliers and other engineering disciplines. As engineering and production are located close to one another, you will be able to see your designs come to life.
You have a strong technical background, maintain a clear overview and know how to guide a team in a supportive and professional manner. You feel comfortable in an environment where quality, planning and custom engineering are essential.
You also bring:
Experience within shipbuilding, yacht building, offshore engineering or a comparable project-driven technical environment is considered a strong advantage.
