Job summary

Forexx Group B.V. is seeking a Project Lead Mechanical Engineering to head the engineering of complex systems for fully customised superyachts.

You will coordinate an engineering team and oversee the complete mechanical scope within yacht-building projects. You will ensure design, planning, budgets, and production stay aligned, from initial engineering to delivery, collaborating with production, procurement, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable technical discipline.
• At least three years of relevant work experience.
• Experience leading or coordinating mechanical engineering projects.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical installations and technical systems.
• Knowledge of project management, planning, progress monitoring and budget control.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Independent, structured and result-oriented working style.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an engineering team and manage the complete mechanical engineering scope within a yacht-building project.
• Supervise engine rooms, propulsion systems, piping and onboard technical installations.
• Ensure timely technical information and drawings for Production and Procurement.
• Monitor planning, budgets and overall progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate technical solutions with other engineering disciplines and manage suppliers.
