Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking a Project H&S (HSE) Manager for a brownfield modification project in the Arnhem region, East of Arnhem. The role can start immediately with an October/November 2026 window and runs on a freelance 12-month rolling contract, overseeing safety for both design/engineering and on-site construction activities.

You bring a strong HSSEQ/HSEQ background with valid certifications (IOSH/NEBOSH/MVK/HVK), EPC/engineering/construction experience, and hands-on safety management

Qualifications

• HSE certification and relevant certifications
• Experience in safety management on site and in design/engineering phases
• Auditing HSE/HSEQ systems and construction safety processes
• Fluency or proficiency in Dutch for client/contractor liaison

Responsibilities

• Support early design and engineering phases from an HSE perspective
• Audit procurement and onboard suppliers/contractors for HSE compliance
• Oversee subcontractors and construction/installation safety on site
• Advise project staff on health, safety, environmental and quality issues
