Job summary

Fluence Energy is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate and manage engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage System projects across the EMEA region. You will act as the technical interface among internal teams, external partners, subcontractors, and customers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years in engineering/project execution, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years in engineering, project engineering, or project execution in power/renewable sectors.
• Experience with utility-scale power systems, PV plants, battery energy storage, or related infrastructure.
• Knowledge of EPC project execution and relevant electrical codes/regulations in EMEA.
• Professional proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage engineering activities for BESS and power projects across EMEA.
• Lead external firms, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
• Lead design review meetings and verify compliance with standards.
• Support procurement with technical specs and evaluation of vendor proposals.
• Take ownership of projects and provide technical leadership through execution.
• Manage engineering escalations and align with safety objectives.
