Job summary

Elusav Recruitment is sourcing a Project Director for a leading International EPC Contractor on a €1B data center campus in Groningen, NL. You will lead the project team, interface with the Client and set clear direction for safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of the integrated build.

Responsibilities include steering design and procurement, chairing key meetings, reviewing audits, addressing open items, and ensuring QEHS alignment across the project team.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification.
• 10+ years’ experience managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.
• Solid knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural packages.
• Flexibility in working patterns.
• Ability to efficiently manage a team by setting expectations, delegation and review.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and chair meetings with your team, the Design team, and the Client.
• Ensure timely close-out of outstanding items.
• Participate in EHS and QA meetings.
• Review weekly project audits and address open items with your team.
• Discuss findings with Construction Manager, team and BU Leads to drive improvements.
• Ensure audit findings are communicated to stakeholders and closed.
• Plan procurement and ensure engineering meets deadlines.
• Review outputs for quality and continuous improvement.
• Attend planned meetings (TBT, SLT, DABS) and drive QEHS with Client.

Elusav Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our client- A leading International EPC Contractor on a 1 Billion Euro Data Center Campus, which consist of 3 data center Buildings in Groningen, Netherlands.

As the Project Director you will be responsible for the management and co-ordination all aspects of the Project as they relate to the project scope of work. Leading and managing the Project Team and interfacing with the Client Team you will set clear direction and expectations for the Safe, on time, on budget delivery of the fully integrated build. Company are the General contractor and delivering CSA and MEP.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and chair meeting with your team, the Design team, and the Client.
• Follow up and ensure a timely close out of any outstanding items.
• Attend and actively contribute to EHS and QA meetings.
• Attend Morning White board evening schedule meetings.
• Review weekly Project audits and address open items with your team.
• Discuss findings and trends with your Construction Manager, your team and the BU Leads.
• Ensure Audit findings are clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
• Drive closure of all open Audit findings.
• Ensure that all EHS alerts are communicated effectively.
• Engage in the campaigns being run to reflect the alerts – TBT, Stand-down, Demonstration.
• Ensure you and your team have fully reviewed and understand the Project specifications and documentation.
• Plan procurement and ensure engineering is developed to meet deadlines.
• Ensure all Material Take Offs are completed to compare with Sub-Contractor pricing returns.
• Review quality of output and foster continuous improvement.
• Periodic attendance at planned meetings, TBT, SLT, DABS.
• Push strong QEHS approach with Client.
• Set standards for training requirements.
• Review weekly Progress update with the project planner and implement strategies to ensure project remains on track. Issue Project report.

Requirements:
