Job summary

Start People is seeking a Production Worker to join their team. You will work with aluminium and steel to manufacture products for movable spaces and related systems. The role offers hands-on training and gradual growth into an independent worker with a broad technical skill set.

You will learn by doing, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and quality. Dutch language proficiency is important, and prior metalworking experience is beneficial but not required.

Job description

As a Production Worker, you will work with aluminium and steel to manufacture a range of products for flexible spaces, including movable partition walls, suspended systems, and roller systems. You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will teach you the trade and gradually give you more responsibility.

Over time, you will develop into an independent Production Worker with a broad technical skill set.

You will contribute to the production and assembly of various technical systems used in locations such as schools and VIP boxes in football stadiums. Your work will be varied, involving different materials, tools, and tasks rather than repeating the same operation all day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling components.
• Processing and working with aluminium and steel.
• Cutting, drilling, and grinding metal components.
• Assembling and finishing various parts.
• Checking your work for quality and accuracy.
• Maintaining your tools and keeping your workspace tidy.
• Working with colleagues to ensure every product is finished properly and meets the required quality standards.

You do not need to know how to do everything from the start. You will receive proper training and learn the different tasks step by step. You do not need to be an experienced metalworker. What matters most is your interest in technology and your willingness to learn.
