Job summary

Werkis B.V. zoekt een nauwkeurige Quality Control Medewerker voor onze metaalproductie in Kampen. Je inspecteert onderdelen op finishing, afmetingen en labeling voordat ze naar klanten of de volgende afdeling gaan.

Je registreert afwijkingen en bespreekt deze met productie, logistiek en QC. Daarnaast help je met orderverwerking en verpakken, telt producten, controleert informatie en labels en zorgt voor een schone en veilige werkplek.

Qualifications

• Nauwkeurigheid en oog voor detail in metaalproductie.
• Inzicht in productieprocessen en kwaliteit.
• Je leest eenvoudige werkinstructies of tekeningen.
• Goede communciatie op werkvloer in Nederlands of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Inspecteren van producten op finishing en afmetingen.
• Controleren van hoeveelheden en labels van orders.
• Registreren van afwijkingen en communiceren met productie/ QC.
• Assisteren bij inpakken en verzendklaar maken.
• Zorg dragen voor een schone en veilige werkplek.

Job description

Are you careful and precise when handling products, and do you have an eye for detail when checking custom-made products for possible defects? Then this position as a Quality Control Employee in metal production could be the perfect fit for you!

As a Quality Control Employee, you are responsible for checking products before they are sent to the customer or moved on to the next department. You check whether components are properly finished, whether the quantities are correct, and whether the products meet the required quality and dimensional standards. If you notice any deviations, you report them and discuss them with colleagues from production, logistics or quality control.

In addition to inspecting products, you will also help prepare and pack orders. You will count products, check order information and labels, and make sure everything is complete and properly prepared for shipping or the next stage of production. Where necessary, you will record your findings and make sure your workplace remains clean and safe.

This is not a position where you will be sitting behind a desk all day. You will actively work on the production floor and play an important role in making sure high-quality and complete products leave the company. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that everything is properly prepared and ready to go.

Bedrijfsomschrijving

Our client specializes in processing thin sheet metal. Using various techniques, the sheet metal is accurately bent and folded into components that meet the customer's requirements. The company also specializes in machining copper strips, which are used, among other things, for efficient electrical conductivity.

The location in Kampen uses modern production techniques, including laser cutting and punching. Quality, precision and craftsmanship are key values within the company.

Wij vragen

• You have an MBO-level education or equivalent working and thinking level;
• You have technical insight or an interest in production and metalworking;
• You work accurately and have a reliable work ethic;
• You can read simple work instructions or technical drawings, or are willing to learn;
• You have a good command of Dutch or English for communication on the work floor.
