Job summary

Henkel is offering a full-time internship in Operations and Supply Chain in the Netherlands. You will assist in daily production management, contribute to lean initiatives, and collaborate across procurement, quality, safety, and logistics.

The role emphasizes digital tools, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The internship runs for six months starting in November 2026, with a monthly stipend of 1,000–1,250 EUR.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient operations aligned with production schedules and quality standards.
• Participate in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and address technical issues promptly.
• Contribute to accurate tracking and management of raw materials, finished goods, and intermediate storage.
• Support the use of digital tools and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to improve inventory accuracy.
• Work with procurement and logistics to ensure smooth material flow and avoid stockouts or overages.
• Coordinate with procurement, quality, safety, and logistics to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Loster to alignment of production and warehouse activities with sustainability goals, such as waste reduction and reducing carbon emissions.
• Assist in Industry 4.0 technologies for real-time inventory and production tracking.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on process automation and data-driven decisions.
• Support sustainable practices, including energy-efficient equipment and greener logistics.
