Job summary

NTS Eindhoven is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to bridge our internal teams and external suppliers. You will ensure quality from design to production, lead risk management, and drive continuous improvements for high-precision, high-tech parts.

The role requires strong data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and fluency in Dutch and English. You’ll contribute to an ambitious quality program and be part of a global supplier network at NTS.

Qualifications

Technical vocational/higher professional education in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
At least 5 years of SQE experience in high-tech or manufacturing.
Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, APQP, SPC in supplier environments.
Experience with supplier audits and supplier management.
Excellent Dutch and English communication; structured, decisive mindset.

Responsibilities

Define critical (manufacturing) parts with NPI Engineering.
Ensure supply chain quality from concept to release-for-volume in low-volume, high-complexity environments.
Monitor and improve supplier processes (machining, welding, grinding) per APQP.
Perform First Article Inspections with Quality Inspector/NPI engineering.
Collaborate with Project Buyers and NPI engineers in multidisciplinary teams.
Analyze quality data, lead 8D teams, drive root-cause elimination toward zero defects.
Build strategic relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
