Job summary

Keylane seeks a Product Owner to join the Product Management Team and steer Plexus Digital engagement (PDE) for pension and life products. You will refine epics, define the backlog with cross-functional teams, and collaborate with clients to align product priorities with contractual obligations.

Key About Your Role

As a Product Owner in Keylane you will be part of the Product Management team and work closely with your own Feature Teams, the Cluster Managers and Developers to ensure our products remain leading solutions in the financial market. You will refine epics and define the product backlog for the Feature Team. Your product responsibility area will center around Plexus Digital engagement (PDE), which enables Keylane customers to deliver an outstanding digital customer experience to end-users.

You will also collaborate with other Product Owners and clients to plan and coordinate dependencies between cross-functional implementations. We are internationalizing our policy administration system, Plexus, which involves close cooperation with colleagues in the Netherlands. You should emphasize business understanding and be willing to listen and discuss different challenges and solutions professionally.

You will have an important influence on the development of Plexus as part of Keylane Industry Platform for Pensions, with opportunities for further growth. You will handle interesting business challenges and be at the forefront of our internationalization efforts.

Key About Your Responsibilities

• Together with the Product Manager, define a product vision for your area, short and mid-term
• Manage stakeholders and representatives of the delivery organization and our customers on a product content level
• Manage the product backlog of your area, considering customer wishes, obligations, commitments and internal improvements
• Work with the Cluster Manager and the Scrum teams to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team
• Continuously improve the software engineering process with the development manager with a focus on requirements management

Requirements

• Have comprehensive experience with Life and Pension Products from industry jobs and/or have a theoretical background with an actuarial education
• Have a professional foundation working with software development organizations, preferably with agile methods
• Have experience prioritizing tasks and scope, preferably with Product Management
• Have drive, energy to continuously improve, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent command of English, with comfort in stakeholder management at all levels of the organization

• For Product Owners: A monthly gross salary between €4200 and €5600 based on 40 hours per week
• For Senior Product Owners: A monthly gross salary between €5200 and €6800 based on 40 hours per week
