Job summary

Ranpak, a leader in protective packaging, is seeking a Product Manager to own a product category within the Protective Paper Solutions portfolio. You will translate customer needs and market insights into a clear strategy and a focused portfolio.

Based at our European office in Eygelshoven, you will collaborate with R&D, Sales, Marketing and Operations, visiting customers and preparing launches with the broader team.

As Product Manager, you will take ownership of a product category within our Protective Paper Solutions (PPS) business. You will translate customer needs and market insights into a clear product strategy, a focused portfolio and commercial growth.

This role combines strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach. One day you may be defining a product roadmap or reviewing pricing, while the next you are visiting customers, discussing product development with R&D or preparing a launch with Sales.

Based at our European office in Eygelshoven, you will join a team of four product managers, each responsible for a specific category. You will work closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing and Operations, collaborating with regional sales teams across Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the strategy, development and commercial performance of your product category.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends and business priorities.
• Translate customer feedback, competitor insights and market research into product and portfolio decisions.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and developing concepts to launch, optimization and phase‑out.
• Drive pricing decisions and portfolio improvements to support revenue growth and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to simplify the product range and strengthen the overall offering.
• Work closely with R&D to turn market requirements into product developments with clear commercial potential.
• Coordinate product launches with Sales, Marketing and Operations.
• Support Sales with clear value propositions, product positioning and relevant market insights.
• Build relationships with customers and regional sales teams to understand applications, operational challenges and purchasing decisions.
• Monitor product performance and use data to prioritize improvements and investments.
• Work with Operations to ensure product decisions reflect manufacturing capabilities and supply chain requirements.
