Job description

At IPP, product management is about creating measurable impact — for customers, partners and future generations.

As Product Manager, you will take full ownership of IPP’s pooling products and services and play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable, circular logistics.

You will define and drive the product vision, roadmap and lifecycle of our pooling solutions — from physical load carriers such as pallets, crates and boxes to digital platforms and shared infrastructure models. Working at the intersection of strategy, operations and commercial execution, you ensure our products deliver real customer value, operational excellence and sustainable growth.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and offers significant influence across the organisation.

Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, preferably within logistics, asset pooling, packaging or shared services — ideally in an international environment.
  • Strong strategic, analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams in complex, fast‑moving organisations.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder sensitivity, from shop floor to boardroom.
Nice to have
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience with circular economy, sustainability initiatives or digital asset tracking (e.g. IoT, RFID).
  • Own and continuously refine the product vision and long‑term strategy for IPP’s pooling portfolio, aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify growth and innovation opportunities by analysing market trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics.
  • Build compelling business cases, define success metrics and translate strategy into clear priorities.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
  • Lead cross‑functional teams (operations, supply chain, engineering, finance, sales and marketing) from idea to launch and beyond.
  • Translate insights into clear product requirements, user stories and roadmaps.
  • Prioritise initiatives and backlog to balance strategic impact, customer value and operational feasibility.
  • Drive pilots, testing and scaling of new pooling concepts, technologies and business models.
Commercial & Operational Impact
  • Partner with commercial teams on pricing, positioning and packaging to strengthen market adoption.
  • Work closely with operations and supply chain to optimise asset utilisation, turnaround times and profitability.
  • Monitor performance and steer continuous improvement initiatives across the product lifecycle.
Stakeholder Leadership
  • Act as the internal ambassador for your products, clearly communicating vision, progress and results.
  • Enable sales, marketing and customer teams with insights, tools and messaging to drive adoption and success.
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable logistics.
  • Have real ownership and influence over products used at scale across international supply chains.
  • Work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where ideas turn into action.
  • Contribute directly to circular economy solutions with measurable impact.
