Job summary

Coolset, the ESG & supply chain platform for compliance-first teams, is looking for an ambitious product manager in Amsterdam. You’ll own the product roadmap, translate customer needs into well-scoped work, and collaborate between engineering and design to ship features.

You’ll design components, sketch and prototype, and automate repetitive PM tasks using Claude Code and n8n. The role emphasizes an AI-first mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and real ownership as Coolset scales.

Founded in 2022 and backed by a remarkable group of early-stage investors, we're a fast-growing company of 20 ambitious engineers, researchers and commercial talent based in Amsterdam.

Your role

You’ll own the product - roadmap, prioritisation, issue triage - and build the systems and automations that make those things run without friction. You sit between engineering and design: translating customer and business needs into well-scoped work, and translating ambiguous problems into interfaces people actually want to use. You have a sharp eye for detail and regularly design new components and features yourself, from first sketch to shipped code.

You’ll be genuinely AI-first. We’ll give you uncapped token budgets, a team that gets you productive from day one, and the freedom to push AI as far as you can take it.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

Own the product roadmap and backlog. You’ll maintain a clear, prioritised view of what we’re building and why — triaging incoming requests, balancing short-term fixes against strategic bets, and making sure engineering is always working on what matters most.

Design new features and components. You have the eye and the taste to go from a vague requirement to a crisp UI. You’ll regularly sketch, prototype, and spec new experiences in the app, working closely with engineering to get the details right.

Build and run the systems that keep PM work lightweight. Anything that happens more than twice gets automated. You’ll actively build those automations using tools like Claude Code and n8n, so the team spends its time on creative and strategic work rather than manual coordination.

Feed insight from across the business into the roadmap. You’ll surface patterns from customer conversations, support tickets, and usage data, and translate them into actionable product decisions.

Work at the intersection of engineering and design. You’re comfortable reading code, reviewing PRs for product correctness, and contributing directly when the situation calls for it. AI-assisted development is core to how we work, and you’ll use it to punch above your weight.

Your profile

• You thrive on context switching: one hour you’re prioritising a compliance feature request from a key account, the next you’re reviewing a component design with engineering
• You enjoy working with all kinds of stakeholders — from engineers and designers to sales and customers — and you know how to adjust your communication accordingly
• You’re analytical and comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
• You’re organised and structured, managing a busy roadmap without dropping threads
• You communicate clearly and directly, in writing and in conversation
• You see recurring work as a signal to automate, not just a thing to do again
• You have a sharp eye for product quality and care about the details that make an experience feel right
• You’re based in or around Amsterdam and eager to build alongside a growing team

• 2-hour co-build session & team lunch: Get to know the team through hands‑on work, and join one of our lunches to connect with the rest
