PostNL zoekt een Product Development Manager voor Spring Europe in ’s-Gravenhage. Je vertaalt marktkansen naar logistieke proposities en leidt cross-border projecten van concept tot realisatie in een hybride werkomgeving.

De focus ligt initieel op Centraal- en Oost-Europa en oplossingen zoals Out of Home levering en Cash on Delivery. Je werkt samen met Product Management, Sales, Operations, IT, Finance en Marketing en bouwt sterke business cases.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring in productontwikkeling, e-commerce, logistiek of projectmanagement.
• Ervaring met ontwikkelen van nieuwe producten of proposities van idee tot implementatie.
• Ervaring met bouwen van commerciële business cases en marktkansen omzetten in concrete plannen.

Responsibilities

• Identificeer kansen in Europese markten en vertaal deze naar sterke business cases.
• Leid de roadmap en breng benodigde expertise samen van concept tot implementatie.
• Werk nauw samen met Product Management, Sales, Operations, IT, Finance en Marketing.
• Begeleid internationale projecten met focus op Centraal- en Oost-Europa.
• Zorg voor focus en draagvlak binnen diverse landen en belanghebbenden.

As Product Development Manager at Spring Europe, you turn commercial opportunities into new logistics products and services. Cross-border e-commerce is moving fast. Customer expectations are changing, delivery networks are evolving and new opportunities are emerging across Europe. You identify those opportunities and investigate what they could mean for Spring Europe and our customers. Your initial focus will be on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and solutions such as Out of Home delivery and Cash on Delivery.

You research markets and competitors, identify customer needs and translate promising opportunities into strong business cases. When there’s a go, you take the lead. You create the roadmap, bring the right expertise together and guide the proposition from concept to implementation. You work closely with colleagues from Product Management, Sales, Operations, IT, Finance and Marketing. With different countries and interests involved, you know how to create focus, get people on board and keep things moving. You spot the opportunity, build the case and bring it to market.

You’ll join the Spring Europe Central Team in The Hague. From there, you work with colleagues and country organisations across our international network.

Your network includes Product Management, Sales, Network & Operations, IT, Marketing, Finance and Procurement. You’ll also work with our country organisations in Central and Eastern Europe and with external suppliers and strategic partners.

You also recognise yourself in the following:

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience in product development, e-commerce, logistics, consulting or project management.
• You have experience developing new products or propositions from idea to implementation.
• You know how to build commercial business cases and translate market opportunities into concrete plans.
• You’re a strong project and stakeholder manager who can bring different teams and interests together.
• You have experience in an international environment and an affinity with Central and Eastern European markets.
• You have excellent English communication skills. an additional CEE language, is a strong advantage.
