Job summary
Royal IHC is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead strategic product developments from concept to first commercial projects. You will guide cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management and Business Development to ensure governance, budget, scope and risk are managed in line with strategic objectives.
In this role you influence product direction across the portfolio, drive stage-gate processes and report progress to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant experience in product development, engineering projects or technology development.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills.
- Structured, pragmatic and results-oriented.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary product development teams.
- Manage scope, planning, budgets, risks and resources.
- Guide projects through stage-gate processes and governance structures.
- Align technical, commercial and operational stakeholders.
- Support prototype development, testing and validation.
- Report progress and key decisions to management and steering groups.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product development processes.
