Job summary

Royal IHC is seeking a Product Development Manager to lead strategic product developments from concept to first commercial projects. You will guide cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management and Business Development to ensure governance, budget, scope and risk are managed in line with strategic objectives.

In this role you influence product direction across the portfolio, drive stage-gate processes and report progress to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience in product development, engineering projects or technology development.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, organisational and communication skills.
• Structured, pragmatic and results-oriented.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Job description

Product Development Manager

Royal IHC is looking for a Product Development Manager within the Technology & Innovation department. In this role, you lead the development of strategic products from concept and business case through validation and implementation in the first commercial projects.

Working closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Technology specialists and business stakeholders, you provide structure, governance and leadership throughout the product development lifecycle. You are responsible for planning, budget, scope, risks, stakeholder alignment and decision-making, ensuring products are delivered successfully and contribute to IHC’s strategic objectives.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams and drive products that support multiple Product Market Groups, ranging from Offshore and Defence applications to other innovative technologies across the IHC portfolio.
