Michael Page is assisting a global FMCG client in Amsterdam to hire a Procurement Specialist for a 6-month hybrid contract. The role emphasizes fruits category support, market research, supplier assessments, and benchmarking to drive sourcing decisions.

You will analyse pricing trends, contracts, spend data, and procurement performance, then prepare executive summaries for stakeholders. Master’s degree, 1–3 years in procurement or analytics, and advanced Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds a Master's degree with 1-3 years in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or a highly analytical business function.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform complex data into meaningful business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable challenging assumptions or asking questions when needed.

• Able to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience within FMCG, food, consumer goods, manufacturing, or procurement is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP or procurement systems would be a plus.
