Job summary

Everience, an international consulting group, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to drive IT/OT strategic sourcing initiatives. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define sourcing strategies, manage supplier selection, and coordinate contracting activities across Europe, Africa, Asia and America.

You will lead complex tenders, engage senior leaders, and ensure transparent procurement processes in a fast-paced, matrix organisation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of procurement experience in IT/OT environments.
• Experience at Procurement Manager level or similar strategic sourcing role.
• Proven leadership of strategic sourcing initiatives and complex tenders.
• Strong IT procurement background; OT experience desirable.
• Experience in wind energy and/or SCADA systems is a strong asset.
• Ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Experience in large, complex matrix organisations.

• Translate business, IT, architecture, security and transition requirements into practical sourcing strategies, supplier criteria and procurement plans.
• Prepare, coordinate and issue RFI, RFQ and RFP documentation with relevant stakeholders.
• Plan and manage procurement milestones, dependencies and decisions in line with the integrated roadmap.
• Develop evaluation criteria, commercial models and scoring structures, and coordinate supplier evaluations.
• Support supplier shortlisting, clarification meetings, negotiations and commercial recommendations.
• Coordinate contracting activities and support supplier onboarding, mobilisation and handover.
• Maintain a consolidated view of supplier selection status, timeline, commercial assumptions, risks and decisions.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to support strategic sourcing initiatives within a complex IT/OT environment. In this role, you will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define sourcing strategies, manage procurement activities, and support the selection and onboarding of key suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform an IT/OT category and supplier-market scan covering the services and capabilities required by the programme/project.
• Translate business, IT, architecture, security and transition requirements into practical sourcing strategies, supplier criteria and procurement plans.
• Prepare, coordinate and issue RFI, RFQ and RFP documentation with relevant business, IT, Legal, Security and Procurement stakeholders.
• Plan and manage procurement milestones, dependencies and decisions in line with the integrated roadmap.
• Develop evaluation criteria, commercial models and scoring structures, and coordinate transparent supplier evaluations.
• Support supplier shortlisting, clarification meetings, negotiations and commercial recommendations.
• Coordinate contracting activities and support supplier onboarding, mobilisation and handover.
• Maintain a consolidated view of supplier selection status, timeline, commercial assumptions, risks and decisions.
• Provide procurement input to reporting, budget discussions and Steering Committee decision material.

• 7+ years of procurement experience (10+ years preferred).
• Experience at Procurement Manager level or in a comparable strategic sourcing role.
• Proven experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives, complex tenders and supplier selection processes.
• Strong background in IT procurement; experience within OT environments is highly desirable.
• Experience in the wind energy sector and/or with SCADA systems is considered a strong asset
• Experience working within large and complex matrix organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to challenge constructively and build alignment between business, commercial and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to maintain transparency and auditability throughout procurement processes.
• Ability to translate business, technical, security and operational requirements into practical sourcing strategies and procurement plans.
• Pragmatic and delivery-oriented, balancing procurement quality, governance and compliance with project timelines and business objectives.
• Ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple dependencies and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-driven, collaborative and comfortable working both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• High level of integrity and sound judgement when handling commercially sensitive and confidential information.
