Job summary

Alcami is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator in Etten-Leur to maintain and secure our server, storage and cloud infrastructure for global operations. You will work with Windows Server, Azure, 365, and virtualization platforms to ensure reliable, compliant IT services across manufacturing and packaging environments.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, IT Operations & Infrastructure, you will help modernize infrastructure, coach colleagues, and document technical processes while adhering to cGMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 9+ years of experience in Systems Administration and at least 3 years of Microsoft Azure Cloud Administration.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V and Citrix.
• Knowledge of enterprise storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience with PowerShell, Active Directory and enterprise networking concepts.
• Microsoft certifications (Azure, MCSE, VMware and/or Hyper-V) are considered an advantage.
• Experience within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and professional proficiency in both Dutch and English.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our Global IT team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the stability, security and performance of Alcami's server, storage and cloud environments. Your expertise will help keep our global IT infrastructure running smoothly while supporting the systems that enable the safe production and delivery of medicines worldwide.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, IT Operations & Infrastructure, you'll work closely with Global IT colleagues across Europe and the United States to deliver secure, scalable and highly available infrastructure solutions. What You'll Do

As our Senior Systems Administrator, you'll be responsible for maintaining, securing and continuously improving Alcami's server, storage and cloud infrastructure. You'll ensure our business-critical IT environment remains reliable, secure and available while supporting manufacturing operations worldwide.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing physical and virtual Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Administering Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and core infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Managing virtualization platforms including Hyper-V, VMware and Citrix environments.
• Maintaining enterprise storage, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitoring and optimizing server, cloud and network performance while troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
• Managing enterprise hardware, including servers, storage systems and security appliances.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and ensuring compliance with cGMP and cybersecurity standards.
• Coaching IT colleagues and contributing to infrastructure modernization and continuous improvement projects.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an experienced infrastructure professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for continuous improvement.

You bring:
