Our Fintech team plays a pivotal role in developing scalable, compliant, and innovative solutions that support our partners and ensure alignment with global regulatory frameworks.
Within this team, the Commercial Operations function is responsible for designing and maintaining internal processes and guidelines that support critical workflows, including:
- Partner onboarding
- Contract processing
We are currently seeking a Process Owner - PSP Governance with a strong background in the payments industry and expertise in access management and compliance. This role involves close collaboration with Product, Finance, PSP Administration, and Commercial teams to build access models and document our merchant account structures for both existing and newly onboarded PSPs.
Role Description
As a Process Owner - PSP Governance, you will play a key role in preparing the Commercial Operations team for future success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Documenting the current ("as-is") state of PSP access models and account structures
- Identifying areas for improvement
- Embedding compliance requirements aligned with our regulated legal entity
This role requires strong internal stakeholder and vendor management skills, and ideally, experience in documenting and creating user access models in a similar role within the payments industry.
Key Responsibilities
User Access Policy Model
You will lead the development and execution of a user access policy model for two existing PSPs and one new PSP. This includes:
- Discovery: Mapping available access model types on PSP platforms to our internal team structure
- Review: Assessing and cleaning up the current user base based on the mapped model
- Reporting: Collaborating with PSPs to design robust, SOx-compliant user access reporting
- Superuser Governance: Ensuring internal superuser protocols are reflected in PSP platforms and documenting update procedures
- Regulatory Alignment: Working with our Holdings Financial Services to ensure access models meet regulatory requirements
- Execution: Coordinating with the Bangalore-based PSP Administration team to implement new access models and reporting
Account/Sub-Account Structure
You will also document and optimize the account and sub-account structures for two existing PSPs and one new PSP:
- Liaising with internal teams (Product, Finance, non-Accommodation verticals) to define the purpose of each sub-account
- Documenting settlement bank accounts and currencies linked to each PSP
- Collaborating with Treasury to ensure compliance
- Initiating closure of discontinued sub-accounts
- Ensuring sub-account structures meet the needs of our regulated entity
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in operations, access management, or a related field, preferably in the payments industry and within regulated environments
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence internal teams and external vendors to shape compliant access models
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements in financial services or technology sectors
- Analytical Thinking: Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and drive informed decisions
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven success working with Product, Finance, Commercial, and Compliance teams
