Job summary

Kraft Heinz Nijmegen offers a 6-month Process Development Intern position focused on modelling and simulation of processes. You will join the D&EM R&D team and work on a diverse set of unit operations, pilot plant trials, and digital capability development.

The role provides exposure to senior stakeholders and hands-on data-driven project work. You will develop and validate CFD/mathematical models, perform data generation, and contribute to techno-economic evaluations while sharing findings with

Qualifications

• Master’s level in food processing technology or chemical engineering.
• Experience with CFD simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics or ANSYS.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is not required, other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and simulate CFD/mathematical/data models for key unit operations.
• Data generation by performing pilot plant trials with different unit operations.
• Carrying out a techno-economic evaluation on the outcome generated by model.
• Share knowledge with the HIC and other departments through presentations and final reports.
